About My Team

Lena Murphy, (they/she), MA, AMFT

Hi, I’m Lena (she/they) and I’m a Black, Queer, relational therapist based in Oakland, California. I use a trauma-informed, somatic, and mindfulness-based approach, to work with clients from all walks of life—especially those who identify as LGBTQIA+ & gender expansive, BIPOC, non-monogamous, neurodiverse, complex trauma histories (C-PTSD), and those one the ace/asexual spectrum.

I specialize in supporting individuals, couples, and groups on a journey of deep healing and transformation. My approach is grounded in understanding how trauma impacts the nervous system and how reconnecting with your body can lead to lasting recovery. I’m dedicated to helping you heal from trauma, reclaim trust in your body, and build the nurturing relationships you deserve.

Olivia Donnini, (they/them), MA, AMFT, APCC

I am a gender-expansive therapist whose approach is collaborative, curious, and compassionate. Hailing from the East Coast, you can expect me to be direct, humorous, and deeply client-centered. My approach is rooted in relational work, psychodynamic therapy, attachment theory, and trauma-informed care. I often work with people who have a sense that something in their life feels out of alignment with who or where they want to be. These folks also tend to identify as 2S-LGTBQIA+, gender expansive, non-monogamous, neurodiverse, trauma-impacted, and looking to better understand their emotional experience and relational patterns.

I currently offer telehealth services and prioritize working with adult individuals, adolescents, and families. When working with me, you can expect a stance that is informed by liberation for all, Health At Every Size (HAES), harm reduction, disability justice, 2S-LGBTQIA+ advocacy, and decriminalizing mental health. We work together to cultivate a sense of safety and trust with others and yourself, defying the many systems that may seem to make that feel impossible.

My rate is $185/session and I often have sliding spots available. Feel free to learn more about me on my website and reach out to schedule a free, 20-minute consultation: www.oliviadonnini.com or 415-580-2012

Ashanti Taylor, (she/her), MA, AMFT

I am a Black, queer expressive arts therapist and emotional wellness practitioner based in Richmond, CA. My work is deeply informed by relational, liberation-centered, and body-autonomy frameworks, as well as the wisdom of Black queer science fiction authors who write about liberation, community, and existential possibility.

For the past five years, I have immersed myself in movement and creative arts as a path to self-discovery. I have honed this practice to support others in gaining tools for emotional regulation and self expression through movement and art-making. I show up in therapy with authenticity, curiosity, and a touch of humor—holding space without judgment as we explore your very human and intricately woven world.

I work with clients who are curious about change, conflict and repair, new ways of relating (including ethical non-monogamy), and deepening self-understanding. Many of the people I support are navigating ADHD, bipolar disorder, or other neurodivergent tendencies, while learning to name and honor their access needs. Creativity, embodiment, and emotional fluency are central to our work together.

I integrate expressive arts, drama therapy, somatic awareness, and narrative practices into a flexible, “build-your-own therapy” approach. Change, as I see it, comes from practicing new ways of being in safe enough spaces. Healing is the process of reclaiming your body, voice, and sense of self—in relationship with yourself and in community.

Ariel Golan, (he/him), MA, AMFT

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, trauma, work stress, or questions of identity, I walk alongside you as you reconnect with yourself and create new narratives to navigate life’s challenges. I strive to create a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can bring your full, authentic self.I work with individuals and couples from diverse backgrounds, with close attention to how larger systems—such as the intergenerational impacts of colonization, migration, and displacement—shape our lived experiences. My activism, including support for Palestinian liberation, informs how I understand the intersections between the political, economic, and personal. Many of the people I work with are immigrants, first- or second-generation individuals, or multicultural and mixed-race people exploring cultural expectations, belonging, and identity. My approach integrates narrative therapy, attachment theory, DBT, parts work, and psychodynamic perspectives, always tailored to your needs. I support adults, adolescents, and relationships, including those in polyamorous, non-monogamous, and companion-based partnerships. Together, we’ll honor your struggles and strengths as we build a path toward growth and lasting change.
