Ashanti Taylor, (she/they), MA, AMFT

I am a Black, queer expressive arts therapist and emotional wellness practitioner based in Richmond, CA. My work is deeply informed by relational, liberation-centered, and body-autonomy frameworks, as well as the wisdom of Black queer science fiction authors who write about liberation, community, and existential possibility.
For the past five years, I have immersed myself in movement and creative arts as a path to self-discovery. I have honed this practice to support others in gaining tools for emotional regulation and self expression through movement and art-making. I show up in therapy with authenticity, curiosity, and a touch of humor—holding space without judgment as we explore your very human and intricately woven world.
I work with clients who are curious about change, conflict and repair, new ways of relating (including ethical non-monogamy), and deepening self-understanding. Many of the people I support are navigating ADHD, bipolar disorder, or other neurodivergent tendencies, while learning to name and honor their access needs. Creativity, embodiment, and emotional fluency are central to our work together.
I integrate expressive arts, drama therapy, somatic awareness, and narrative practices into a flexible, “build-your-own therapy” approach. Change, as I see it, comes from practicing new ways of being in safe enough spaces. Healing is the process of reclaiming your body, voice, and sense of self—in relationship with yourself and in community.

Ariel Golan, (he/him), MA, AMFT

I work with individuals and couples who want to better understand the patterns shaping their relationships, including romantic partners, friendships, and family relationships. You may notice the same conflicts, distance, or disconnection showing up again and again, despite your efforts to do things differently. Many of the people I work with care deeply about their relationships but feel stuck in cycles they can’t quite shift.
Much of my work is with second-generation individuals and those navigating bicultural or multicultural identities, as well as men who want space to better understand and shift how they show up in relationships. This often includes exploring tensions around loyalty, responsibility, and self-expression, and how different cultural expectations shape the way people approach closeness, conflict, and communication.
My approach is grounded in the understanding that these patterns don’t come out of nowhere. They are shaped by early relationships, family dynamics, and the cultural environments we grow up in. In our work, we slow these moments down to better understand what’s happening in real time, so you can begin to respond with more clarity and intention rather than reacting automatically.
I draw from attachment-based, psychodynamic, and experiential approaches, tailoring the work to each person or couple. I work with people across a range of relationship structures, including monogamous, polyamorous, and non-monogamous relationships.
